Under the conditions for Coronavirus COVID-19

 The health of you and our staff is our highest priority, we want to ensure we are proactive and taking all precautions to keep everyone healthy and happy.

 What we are doing:

 As well as regular professional cleaning and daily cleaning in accommodation and common areas. We are ensuring all staff are practising regular and thorough hand washing, respiratory hygiene and staying home from work if they are unwell.

What you can do to help

Wash your hands regularly with soap and water

Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when sneezing or coughing

Please listen to your body, if you are feeling unwell, have a fever, cough or flu please do not make a booking or cancel your booking at our hostel for 14 days rest while you recover.

We kindly ask who has been who has been overseas, NSW or Melbourne. Please do not make a booking or cancel your booking for the recommended isolation period of 14 days.

We hope these things will help our community and hostel feel healthy and safe.

All work is eligible for second year visa

This is a great opportunity citrus season works right through until April 2020 – Then we will endeavour to move you to other farms to start hourly paid / piece rate positions for new seasons as we offer farm work all year round in Bundaberg.
*subject to weather and harvest

·         Citrus packing – Part time – $19.49 ph plus annual leave

                Citrus Picking – Piece Rate – $180.00 per bin (350kg)

·         General farm work – Casual – $24.36 ph

The job you are allocated to will depend on the date of your check in and suitability for the job placement. We have work 12 months of the year and work with some of Bundaberg’s largest growing and packing operations. Current wait time to be allocated to a job is 1 – 2  days ( weather and harvest conditions dependant).

Pay rates for jobs vary depending on the position but include casual, part time and piece rate work – all paid in accordance with the horticulture award and include 9.5% superannuation. All work is eligible for 2nd and 3rd year visa sign off
